So about 3 weeks ago Cara and I decide to really step up and work on losing some weight. I think we have both been unhappy with how we look so we have been holding each other accountable and really making a huge effort to accomplish our goals. Now I will be the first to say it, I HATE working out. But I am really serious about losing my gut, so I have been riding an exercise bike for 20-40 minutes 3 or 4 times a week. I have stopped drinking all soda and I have been eating less than 1800 calories a day. I know it probably doesn’t seem like much, but I have lost 5 lbs so far and I am looking to lose about 10 more. I am not a huge fan of leaving 2 boxes of thin mint girl scout cookies untouched in my freezer, but I am pleased with the results I am seeing. In the past I would workout or eat right for 1 week, see no results and then quit. I am very proud of the work I have been doing and I am also proud of Cara, she has lost 8 lbs and counting! It is super nice to have someone around doing the same thing, it helps stay motivated. I am excited to possibly have a six pack again!!
