So occasionally I get emails from readers. For awhile I considered starting a weekly column where I answer readers questions and concerns, sort of like Dear Abbey or something. Here is a letter I received recently:
Dear Ian,
I am a long time reader and I need your help. My GF farted the other night. Should I be concerned that she might also poop?

Dear Reader,
The only true answer I can give you is that girls, even adult women do not poop. It is simply not in their makeup. Now maybe what you heard wasn’t a fart and if it was, I think that the holidays could perhaps create a buzz in the stomach of women. My advice is to get her tested for Cancer or something, she is not going to poop.
