Tonight Cara and I hike the fabled Monkey Mountain of Grain Valley. It should be a medium difficulty 5 mile hike. No one knows for sure how Monkey Mountain got its name and asking around some of the older folk in Grain Valley, they claim that a Circus Train wrecked nearby and the monkeys all took to the hills to seek shelter. Of course there was no record of the train wreck, so the mystery remains!
