Cyber Bible - So I downloaded a bible app for my iphone and actually used it at church today. I felt kind of like everyone else thought I was goofing off or not playing attention. But it was kind of nice not to carry around a book.
I think people will begin to see this sort of thing happen more and more. I mean I have 15 translations of the bible in a tiny hand held device. I don’t see how anyone can argue with that!
p.s. Acts 15:19 is at the core of a pretty interesting story from the bible about Paul questioning the fact that only circumcised men could run with God. Turns out that someone thought this was silly and as a result, James (Jesus’ half brother) stood up and said, “Let’s not prevent ANYONE from finding God, turtleneck or not” —-of course that is a paraphrase….hehe.
