LABOR DAY.
Cara and I decided that we should go on a picnic to celebrate the wonders of Labor Day! So we got up early and headed to the old Hyvee for supplies. We got some wine, cheese, strawberries and chocolate, brownies and a few odds and ends.
We then headed off to Antioch Park. It is a wonderful little park with a pond and a bunch of geese. We settled down and enjoyed our spread complete with a shady tree and a blanket. It was a beautiful day! I am glad I had the chance to share that with Cara. She had been wanting to go on a picnic for some time and today was the perfect day for it. I hope she has fond memories of it for awhile.
